With a population of approximately 19, 000 people Rocky Hill, Connecticut is one of the best places to live-in America. The population is a majority of Whites and a small population of African Americans and other races. The town along the river Connecticut has a rich heritage which is now complemented by an all round development. The development of the town is based on an excellent education system, infrastructure and Governance. Few of the schools in the town are the Rocky Hill High School, Griswold Middle School and Moser School.

The Human Resource Department of the city has Youth & Family Service programs which focus on Community Development, Resource Development, Management & Administration, Research & Development and Advocacy. There are good number of hospitals in Rocky Hill which include the Veterans Home and Hospital, West Hill Nursing and Rehab Center and Bridges at the Green. The list is not exhaustive.

The town is more famous for its dinosaur park. The park is located over 63 acres of land. It has dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic age dating back to 200 million years. The Elm Ridge Park and the Maxwell Park are some of the parks in the town. The community center in the town can be used by guests to host their private parties and also for NGO’s.
